Another holiday story. Around 1985 we wanted to share the experience of our favourite hotel in the Drakensberg with Eleanor and Charlie, so planned a short break up in the mountains. The first morning after breakfast as we wondered around the grounds and the girls booked horse riding for the afternoon then dashed off to change into bathing suits,Eleanor said: "Anyone for tennis?" Now, the last time she had played tennis to my knowledge was in the Orange Free State in 1954, where they were both members of a club. Tennis is not my sport, never was! But she convinced us that it would be fun to knock a few balls around the court. Those were her words. Well!! As you can see from the pictures, they knocked spots off Brian and I!! Needless to say, I couldn't hit a ball, but they failed to miss one.
